It consists of 3 main topics:

Odoo 13 functional (32 multiple choice questions, 5 open questions)
Odoo consulting (3 open questions)
Sales process

You cannot cooperate with anyone on this → using phone or Zalo is forbidden during this time.
Also, using Odoo demo on localhost or any other server is not allowed. You cannot check the playbooks during this time.

How do you add followers for every newly created opportunity automatically? *

You need to add the chosen person as the follower of the whole sales team.

Only through technical setting → you need to set an automated action.

You cannot automatically add a follower. You need to use the lead scoring to assign the opportunity to specific sales person. That sales person then becomes a follower.

How do you add a new stage in a pipeline only for a specific sales team? *

You cannot add a stage only for one sales team. The stages need to be unified.

In settings of the Stage, you set for which sales team it applies. Only one sales team can be selected.

In Configuration → Stages, you select all the sales teams for which the stage should appear.

Is it possible to set a different price for each product variant? *

No, you can only set the surcharge to the main product.

Yes, you set it as individual pricelist item.

Yes, you can set it directly on the configuration of the product variant.

Can you see a margin you make on a product directly on the SO? *

Yes, you can see it on each SO line per each product.

Yes, but you can see it only as a total margin for the whole SO.

No, there is a specified margin report for that in Accounting → Reporting.

I want to deliver the first product that entered my stock instead of a random one on my next sale order. How can I do this? *

By selecting FIFO as your Removal Strategy

How can I add an additional currency (such as USD) with which I want to issue invoices? *

It is not necessary since the 20 most traded currencies in the world are all selectable by default in your invoices.

Where is the costing method defined? *

If you want to figure out what is the turnover rate of your employees per last year, how can you get the information? *

You go to Employees → Reporting → Contracts. It is the defaultly set report there.

Unfortunately, you cannot see this report in Odoo. However you can filter needed information, export them in Excel & prepare the report there.

This requires customization, you cannot achieve it by default Odoo.

When allocating the time-offs to employees, can you set that one day will be allocated on the 1st day of each month? *

No, you need to do it manually.

Yes, in Time-Off allocation, you need to choose Allocation type as Accrual.

You cannot do it in Time-Off Configuration, but you can set an automated action based on a timed condition.

What are the dependencies of Payroll App? *

Only Employees app.

It is a product which is used during manufacturing process, but does not change during the process & is not consumed (e.g. water, tools, assets...)

It is a group of products which can be sold to & assembled by the customer.

It is a type of BOM which allows to split the products into its components.

Can you set custom URLs to your pages, blog posts & products? *

Yes, you do it directly in the front-end.

You can set custom URL only to pages.

Yes you can, but you need to change it in the back-end with debug mode on.

Can you send a recovery email when a cart is abandoned? *

Yes, but you need E-mail marketing app for that.

Yes, but you need both E-mail Marketing & Marketing Automation apps for that.

Yes, you can set it directly in the website/e-commerce settings.

Can you translate a website running on Odoo to other languages? *

You cannot translate it, but you can duplicate/create a new website using Multi-website feature and create it as a new, translated website.

You need to install that language & allow this language in Website settings. Then you can translate it either in front-end by button translate or in back-end in Settings→Translations.

This is not a default Odoo functionality, but it is in the roadmap for Odoo 14 Website improvements.

What are the types of activities which Marketing Automation app can do? *

It can only send automated e-mails based on different conditions (e.g. if email is not replied to 5 days after sending, send second one)

It can combine both e-mails & server actions (e.g. If someone replies e-mail, it creates an Activity at the opportunity).

Is it possible to set purchase order approvals in default Odoo? *

No, this needs to be customized or used module from Odoo store.

Yes, you can set purchase order approvals based on minimum amount. Purchase managers can approve.

Yes, you can choose specific user to approve, as well as the minimum amount of order or other criteria (only specific vendor, specific product category needs approvals)

How does Odoo handle purchasing discounts & promotions in the pricelists? *

In the vendor pricelist, you can configure the price per minimum amount (e.g. min amount 0 → price is 100USD, min amount 5 → price is 85USD).

On PO line, there is a field "Discount" where you can manually input the discount percentage.

Purchasing app has configurable promotion programs, where you can set different discounts & promotions (e,g, 10+1 product free, buy at least 10, get 10% discount).

What happens to the store which uses Odoo POS & an there is an internet cut off? *

Odoo POS stops working, until the connection is restored.

It will give you 5 minute limit to restore the connection/change your connection to get back online.

If POS is loaded, it will work offline & synchronize once you´re back online.

Does Odoo control stock levels from POS app? *

Yes, but you need to be online.

No, Odoo POS does not check the inventory levels.

Yes, but you have to have inventory app, stockable products & be connected to internet.

What is a Purchase Agreement? What are the use cases when the customer might use them? *

What are the reordering rules? What do clients use them for? Where do you set them? *

Please explain the concept of Multi-company in Odoo. Why do the companies need it, what is the purpose? *
